Moda için sürdürebilir 7 kumaş

For fashion to be sustainable and ethical, first of all, attention should be paid to fabrics. Whether you are a manufacturer or a fashion lover, choosing sustainable fabrics will be our first step towards being environmentally friendly.

While producers should prefer sustainable fabrics, it is fashion lovers who will determine their behavior. Knowing which fabrics are sustainable is one of the most important factors in this regard.

1) Organic Cotton

Organic cotton is grown without chemicals such as pesticides and synthetic fertilizers. From an ecological perspective, organic cotton uses fewer resources in terms of energy and production.

You should pay attention to the certificates that show that the cotton is grown without any chemicals or machine harvesting and that the clothing you produce is sustainable.

The brands known as organic production brands take care to produce almost every product from these fabrics.

2) Recycled Cotton These

are the fabrics obtained by recycling after the industry or after the consumer. Cotton t-shirts can be obtained from industry fabrics such as sustainable denim.

Recycled cotton helps you eliminate what fashion leaves behind. However, certification and regulation are mandatory for recycled cotton.

3) Organic Linen

Linen is a super light and breathable fabric. It requires little fertilizer and irrigation to grow. It is almost one of the favorite fabrics, often used in sheets and shirts.

4) Organic Bamboo When

harvested, the plant can easily regenerate without being damaged. Depending on how they were processed, they can often be reprocessed.

8) Econyl

Econyl is a fabric called nylon to cover our recycled material foundations.

Synthetic wastes from ocean plastic, abandoned fishing nets, waste fabrics are obtained by reprocessing.

Although it feels exactly the same as nylon, it does not require a lot of water when used. It is an important solution for plastic waste to be useful again.

 9) Recycled Polyester

The options are many when it comes to sustainable fabrics. Recycled polyester is the first thing that comes to mind in this case.

Single-use plastics are clearly wreaking havoc in our environment, and many brands have given a second life to plastic bags, bottles and textiles attached to the trash.

Recycled polyester thin lightweight stretch can be transformed from ethical activewear to thick fluffy products.

Sustainable fashion brands have been using this method for years.

7) Lyocell & Sustainable Semi-Synthetic Fabric

Lyocell is a semi-synthetic and cellulosic fabric that has become very popular in the sustainable fashion world. It is produced from the pulp of eucalyptus trees, which do not require much water and pesticides.
